| 5o5 GER-8775 Enclosed details of 8775 which is similar to 8788. |
Tube angled forward to allow skipper to
sit a bit further forward without stepping over with leg.
Controlls on the sides / on seat tank 2 cleats for jib block up/down and in/out,
both sides linked and symetrical.
Controlls going out from cap to recess on
both sides are, starting from back:
Kicker, forestay/rake, shrouds, mast ram down front one not going out is ram up.
Vertical system workes very easy even
under load going upwind.
Pin is sliding in the track and as it stands out at top (but out of the way as beside
the head of board) it can also be pushed down again. Both ropes go back to skipper
and is continues rope as lifting is same amount of rope as dropping again.
So no loose loop of rope lying around in boat.

Notice the strong reinforced front thwart.
There is also a strong reinforcement inside the side tank to take
the high sideways load at top of case caused by long board.
Tom Swift (current owner) only changed 8775 to transom sheeting.
