Back again after a successful European tour. The
response was overwhelming considering the fact that SACRAMENTUM just was an opening act. A
sincere hail to all that showed up on the shows and spilled their sweat and blood for us.
We also want to raise our filled (as always) cups to all of the crew (you're the best) and
to the other bands on the tour. Beware of the Swedish drunken bastards!
SACRAMENTUM will play live at "Bohusröjjet",
Bohus, Sweden the 17th of April. Other bands appearing are
a.o. Naglfar and Evergrey.
A short review report for the new album "Thy Black Destiny":
- Metal Hammer (UK) 8 out of 10
- Rock Hard (D) 8 out of 10
- Terririzer (UK) 7.5 out of 10
- Scream # 45 (N) 5 out of 6 "Sacramentum continues their brutal black/death
metal attack, and this is their best album to date. Brutal as shit, almost Morbid Angel
like at times, and absolutely no synths. Killer! (Bjørn Nørsterud)"
- Deftone (D) 11 out of 15

After some usual troubles with the layout, the
cover artwork is finally done. The artist this time was Axel Hermann. If everything works
out according to the plans the album will be released by Century Media Records the 25th
of January in Europe and the 13th of April worldwide.

In September SACRAMENTUM
finished their work with their third full length album. It contains 10 songs and is
entitled "Thy Black Destiny".
Once again they recorded in Los Angered Recordings under the supreme supervision of Andy
La Rocque. With this album SACRAMENTUM take their musical work into an even more
aggressive and dark dimension. The style of the songs vary from epic hymns to sheer metal
armageddon.
