| Sartajokk creek holds in
its upper reaches mostly small Arctic char. Further down as the altitude
drops faster, after the large calm waters, the creek gets deeper and trout
of larger size becomes available.
The best fishing is probably found in the deeper part of the creek the last kilometers before the outflow. With ample time it is possible to walk from Kvikkjokk Village. The lakes along the trail holds large trout and Arctic char (lb6+). To walk over the mountain south of Staika is not recommended as the terrain is somewhat difficult with large boulders.
