| Tjulan
Creek, a calm and slow creek with trout
and grayling, that flow nearby Ammarnas Village and has its source in the
Upper and Lower Lake Tjultrask. A
road follows the creek westwards on the north side and there are several
small paths alongside the creek.
Tjulan Creek is easy to wade and perfect for flyfishing. Fish are numerous and can be found along the entire stretch. This is by no means a long creek with its 8 kilometres, but very picturesque with Ammarnas at the end. Tjulan Creek has one tributary, Karsbacken Creek, that enters at the middle of the stretch. The outlet into Lake Gautstrask on the outskirt of the Village marks the end of the creek as it flows into River Vindeln. |
