Adelaide
This town is probably one of the nicest I´ve ever seen. Cleen and cosy. The pubs are great. It was born 1836 and have today 1 million citizens. Adelaide is also maintown for the state South Australia which is the dryest in Australia.

Choose a backpackerplace down at seaside where it´s not so much traffic. Cheap hostels can be found everywhere.
The sign actually says "no alcohol consumption". In the rich neighbourhoods you need to show some decency. In the background you can see the lovely beach.
Fun on the beach.....

For those who like shopping have come to the right place. A lots of non traffic shopping areas.
