ALICE SPRINGS

Alice Springs was founded in 1870 as a telegraph office on the route Adelaide-Darwin. Today it's a small tourist town with 25 000 citiziens. The town has a good nightlife with a lots of small cosy pubs. A guided tour to experience the aboriginal habbits is strongly recomended. You will among other things get the chance to eat toasted worms. Click here for a detailed citymap.
