Love in a foreign land is the backbone of the story of Sameera
films ``Enrendrum Kaadhal,'' presented by K. T. Kunjumon. Vijay goes
to Switzerland. There he meets Ramba. She does not know anything about
India. A chance meeting between the hero and the heroine brings them together
and she wants to know more about the customs and traditions of India. This
makes them meet more often. Their intimacy blossoms into love. How
they reveal their love to the elders and get married, is told in an enjoyable
way, says director Manoj Bhatnagar, music-director-turned-movie maker.
``We have shot in Switzerland and some other European countries. Beautiful
visuals and melodious songs will certainly entertain the viewers.

Super hit !!!
Kutty longs to become a singer while working in an audio shop
run by Mani (Manivannan). His songs are appreciated by a college student
Rukmani (Simran) and each time she wishes to meet him, circumstances project
him as a bad element. He also becomes the cause for Rukmani losing her
vision and repents for it. He regularly writes to his mother about the
developments (right through the film the mother never makes an appearance)
and she offers her eyes to Rukmani after her death by which time Kutty
befriends her. To meet the cost of the eye transplant, he offers his kidney
to a Pune-based richman. While returning home he inadvertently becomes
an accomplice in carrying explosives and is sent to jail. (He could have
easily established his identity by various means but avoids them, the reasons
being known to the director).
Having regained her vision, Rukmani, who had studied for IAS,
becomes a Collector and when Kutty tries to contact her, he is still the
rowdy element in her mind. The climax reunion is stretched more than it
warrants.
.
Vijay is natural right through and times his delivery well. The
way he suppresses his emotions after hearing the news of his mother's death
is superb. He cries his heart out in the lavatory while his friends are
under the impression that he has received his monthly sum from his mother
and expect a share in it as usual. His work in the closing stages is another
feather in his cap. He shows more resoluteness in the two vigorous fights
(choreographed by Kannan) with Ponnambalam and Shankar, a new variation
seen in the aerial kicks.

A HIT!
A love story cut out to suit the energetic talent of Vijai, with the
expected twists and turns, has been made worthwhile by the situations fashioned
by director Venkatesan in V. J.Films' ``Nilaave Vaa.'' The element of communal
wrangle and a solution for it (possible only on the screen) add to the
closing portions. If the nucleus of the theme, a love affair between a
Hindu girl and a Christian youth, raises visions of ``Alaigal Oaivathillai,''
the similarity stops there. The director has worked out events that are
entirely different, blending the comedy element involving the hero Vijai
and his friends (Charlie, Sujit Sagar & Balaji) with the love affair
of Vijai and Suvalakshmi, and the reason for the love going sour.
Vijay dances, sings, fights and emotes his scenes with methodical
efficiency.

Priyamudan is a must-see Vijay`s movie. It
is an entertaining movie. Everyone has lived up to their roll special Vijay
have acted like a antic-hero. The songs are good. Vijay performs some lively
dance numbers, including a solo one, and indulges in vigorous fight (a
minor back injury flared up during this shooting, forcing him to take rest
for a couple of weeks), all in his usual style. He has made sincere efforts
to give shape to the negative character and asserts himself in the climax.
He is at his best in the scene where he pleads his case with Jai Ganesh,
forcing him to a rash act. Kausalya just fills the bill, while Sujit Sagar
makes a neat essay.
Ninaithen Vandhai is a must-see Vijay`s movie.
It is an entertaining movie. Everyone has lived up to their role. Vijay,
Rambha and Devayani are the heart of the movie. They both looked good and
have acted very well. Vijay has come out very adorable. The songs are nice
and the locations of the movie are breathtaking. The tamil Hum Appke Hain
Kaun without the tragedy
A well directed movie by K.Selva bharathy,
though the story is nothing new, the treatment of the story is commendable,
backed by good music, songs and comedy, make this film an entertainer.
The movie is full of songs, actually 7
which are excellent. The movie has nothing spectacular but the music and
the presentation with good comedy and performances from the actors made
the movie a big hit. The hero falls in love with the heroine and his marriage
is settled with another woman. Finally love triumphs and the hero wins

The title itself makes the story of the
movie. There is very little to talk about the story. The hero in the movie
is madly in love with the disguised girl in his dreams. But his father
wants to get him married with a girl of his distant relatives. Unwillingly
the hero, along with his two brothers-in-law and uncle, makes a trip to
the girl's house and gets engaged. In the meantime the hero with his uncle
and brothers-in-law attends a marriage and there he finds his dream girl.
Later on he moves to another place because of his job where he once again
meets his dream girl and they fall in love with each other. As is usual
in tamil movies, the dream girl and the girl who got engaged with the hero
are sisters. But for some reason they stay apart right from their childhood.
During a visit to her native place, the dream girl comes to know that her
lover and her sister's fiancee are one and the same. So she gets prepared
to sacrifice her love for her beloved sister. After some dramatical suitations
the movie ends with the marriage of hero and the dream girl.
Well! Everyone must watch the movie. I have
to say that Vijay is one of the most charismatic actors in the Indian Film
Industry. On the whole, the movie is excellent; thoroughly entertaining.
All the actors have justified their characters. The next best salable proposition
is young superstar Vijay, whose films get sold for as much as Rs 9 crore
on the very day of their launch, thanks to the bumper collections of his
Kadalukku Maryathai, which has so far grossed Rs 25 crore.

ALREADY A HIT! .
Once more is a must-see for those who love comedy
(tapori type). Although, the movie has no story, the scenes of the movie
keep you in splits. Vijay is looking awesome and has acted very well. The
songs are good. The song picturizations are beautiful and entertaining.
I would recommend evrybody to watch this movie. Except
for the songs, "Enna azhagu eththanai azhagu" and "Een pen endru piranthay",
there isn't much to the movie. All artists have portrayed their characters
well. Kahalum Katru Mara.
