| 1. | Create a new file. Any size You want. RGB Mode. |
| 2. | Create a New Layer. Name it - Cable. |
| 3. | Choose Airbrush
(J) in Your "Toolbox". Brush size: 3 p - 8 p Hardness: 100% Color: of Your choise. |

Hand draw a cable shape like this one:

| 5. | (ctrl+click) the
Cable layer in your layer palette. Invert selection (ctrl+shift+I). |

Select > Feather...
|
| 7. | Move the selection
2 p to the left and 2 p down. Use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move the selection. |

Image>Adjust>Brightness/Contrast...
Just adjust until You are satisfied with the "highlight" for the cable. |
| 9. | Move the selection 4 p to the right and 4 p up. |
| 10. |
Image>Adjust>Brightness/Contrast...
Just adjust until You are satisfied with the "shadow" for the cable. |

OK, all there is to do now is the copper in the front of the cable Create a New layer. |

Choose Your Line tool (N)
Color; middle grey |

Draw a couple of lines from the end of the cable like this:

Filter > Noise > Add Noise...
|

Image > Adjust > Hue/Saturation... (ctrl+U)
Adjust the handles until U get a copper tone U like |
|
Now U are Finished. Put in the cable in another image.
