The Stockholm Caledonian Dance Circle

The Stockholm Caledonian Dance Circle was founded in 1975.We are a non profit organization. Our main purpouse is to dance and spread knowledge about dances from Scotland and other celtic countries. We mainly dance Scottish Country Dances

danced either to music played on the bagpipe as on the picture were we are dancing a demonstration dance
with a piper in the middle of the formation or to a danceband, or highland dances.

Highland dances are danced solo or as a group.
We do our own coreograpies.
Classes

We arrange beginners- and intermediate classes in Scottish and Celtic dancing.

we also do demonstrations.
