Ingemar Sundberg have told me som storys about the life in "Wild Wästergötland" in yesteryears

Florence Sundberg Yeager wrote in 1965 "a letter for her grandparents Charles John Sundberg and Caroline Warnick" from Warnick family History Vol 1.

The town  Skara  has been an important place for several generations of the family so I have posted a short history of the town

From  Catholic Encyklopedia  (1913) I got this account of the Catholic church and its diocese and bishops in Skara in the early middle ages.

The first  "Sundbergs" were closely connected to  Mariedals castle  so I have posted a short description of it.

Several generations of  the Sundberg family have been living in the parish  Skånings-Åsaka,  i have gathered some informations about the parish church.

I have also found  an article about Västergötlands oldest history  that might be of interest.

I got this short history of Swedish emigration to the US from the House of Emigrants in Växjö.

    Missing branch

Several members of my family have moved to America and, if you know anything, please contact me. One of them was Charlotta Josefina Johansdotter, born 1856-12-23. She might have called herself "Andersdotter" or "Sundberg". She left for Amerika 1881-10-12 from Ova, Skaraborg. Her father was Johannes Andersson and her mother was Maria Lena Sundberg. I do not know where she might have moved.
