| How did I become so incredibly strong in so
short time? The answer is hard training and good food, you think. Wrong!!! Well I train
rather hard but I do not eat like the books say you should (yes, you could call me a
"sausage lifter"). When I first started with powerlifting I had been training (I wasn´t that serious) for some years but I had never trained my legs so I focused on the legs for the first few months with incredible results thanks to the king of powerlifting Ed Coan. I watched a training film about him and followed his cycle. I recommend this to everybody. I started with powerlifting november 1996 and did a total of 390 kg weighing 74,4 kg. This was in march 1997. Well, I tell you about Ed Coan´s training cycle. It goes something like this over a 16 week period.
